During Super Bowl LVII, a new commercial for “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” by Nintendo, Illumination and Universal Pictures was shown.

For this, the makers of the film came up with something unexpected. Among other things, a rap track and a complete website.

The clip differs from the trailers that have been released so far because it shows a fictional commercial that is called a “Super Mario Bros. Plumbing Commercial” – so it has primarily nothing to do with the upcoming film. The commercial brings back the familiar and popular “Mario Rap” which originally served as the introduction for the live-action series Super Mario Bros. Super Show from 1989-1991.

The short video shows Mario and Luigi making their way to work – from Brooklyn to Queens. Finally, a phone number and website for Super Mario Bros Plumbing is displayed where more information can and should be obtained. For the website is live and can be visited.
