Briefing:

Create and implement a communications strategy for PUBG and assume responsibility for all strategic and day-to-day PR activities in the GSA region to enhance PUBG’s (product and Esports activities) position within the media and consumer landscape.

Approach:

Creation and implementation of general strategy and various activities including traditional press relations, press release creation/sending, storytelling pitches, influencer relations, key sampling, event support, media monitoring and agenda brainstorming. Comprehensive PR support for launches and regular game updates (e.g. PUBG Season 4 launch). Strengthening the company’s position inside and outside traditional gaming and tech media.

Results:

More than 200 clippings (news, reviews, interviews and features) in the first two and a half months after assignment in leading gaming and general interest media, such as Gamestar, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Sport1, Computer Bild, ARD Sportschau, PC Games (Hardware), Eurogamer, Computer Bild and Computerbase. Several interviews with top tier media, such as 4Players, Eurogamer, Sport1, Gamereactor.
