Unreal Engine 5 comes with Matrix Awakens data
The time has come. The Unreal Engine 5 is now officially available for download.
What’s exciting here: In order to be able to try out the whole thing in style, interested parties will receive data from The Matrix Awakens.
From now on, developers can draw on the full potential and conjure up real NextGen graphics with Lumen, Nanite and co. It’s been almost two years since the Unreal Engine 5 was introduced and announced. With “Lumen in the Land of Nanite“, Epic demonstrated the graphics power of its new game engine in an impressive way.
The extremely detailed demo ran in real time on the PlayStation 5 – and not on a high-end PC, as one would assume. In the meantime, there is a whole series of freely explorable worlds to marvel at, first and foremost The Matrix Awakens, which can hardly be distinguished from the real world. Since yesterday, the full version of the Unreal Engine 5 has been available to interested parties and game developers. We are curious to see how the whole thing will look like in new games. First releases are expected before the end of this year.
