This game brings back childhood memories. The classic marble game Screwball Scramble has been perfectly implemented as a browser game and can now be played for free.
Screwball Scramble is a well-known skill game by Tomy that was very popular in the 80s. It is a fascinating puzzle game in which the player has to steer a marble over various obstacles on a plastic course with the help of different buttons. The bright green and orange colours immediately evoke childhood memories.
The game was faithfully realised by Jean Joulia as an interactive browser game. The marble is shot over a bridge, swung with a magnetic crane and launched with a catapult – just like in the real game. The whole thing is a detailed replica that even reflects the light falling on the textured parts. Like the real Screwball Scramble, it’s an incredibly gruellingly exciting experience.
If you’re looking for a bit of nostalgia or just want to see how kids spent their time before games like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom existed, take a few minutes.
