The Brief:

Create and execute a comms strategy for PUBG and take over responsibility for all strategic and day to day PR activities in GSA region to elevate PUBGs (PUBG game and esports activities) position within the media and consumer landscape.

Approach:

Creation and implementation of different strategies and activities including classic press communications and relations, press release distribution, storytelling pitches, influencer relations, key sampling, event support, media monitoring and agenda brainstorming. Extensive PR support for launches and regular game updates (e.g. PUBG Season 4 launch). Reinforcement of company’s position within and beyond gaming and tech media.

Results:

Generated more than 200 Clippings (news, reviews, interviews and features) in the first two and a half months in top tier gaming and general interest media, such as Gamestar, Sueddeustche Zeitung, Sport1, Computer Bild,ARD Sportschau, PC Games (Hardware), Eurogamer, Computer Bild and Computerbase. Several interviews with top tier media, such as 4Players, Eurogamer, Sport1, Gamereactor.
