The Brief

Establish World of Tanks: Mercenaries as one of the best known Free 2 Play titles for consoles. Get GI press to emphasise the USPs of the console version of World of Tanks and establish WoT: Mercenaries as an own brand, not to be mistaken for the PC version. Coordination of PR strategies with our partner agencies in France, Spain, Belgium, Poland, Czech Republic, UK and Nordics.

Approach

Since March 2018, we have handled the PR for World of Tanks: Mercenaries in Germany and coordinated  European PR with our partner agencies as the lead agency. Aside from regularly distributing press releases, we pitch the media with individual stories and organize interviews and events as well as speaker opportunities.

Results

Extensive press coverage in all of the online and print media across Europe.

Successfully secured dedicated feature stories in key General Interest (Mainstream), Special Interest (Gaming), lifestyle and tech media.

Since the start, we have raised the overall interest for WoT: Mercenaries and made the media and consumers aware of the USPs of the console version.
