Briefing:

Intensify and strengthen relationship with key German journalists and place in-depth features and preview articles in key media.

Approach:

For Gamescom 2016 and 2017, we pitched interview opportunities with a Twitch representative and accompanying article topics to key GI and SI journalists.

Results:

In addition to solidifying the relationship between Twitch and the press relevant to them, we placed stories in GI and SI press such as Handelsblatt, IGM, SPIEGEL ONLINE, Sueddeutsche Zeitung and heise. Thanks to our excellent setup, we were able to place Twitch in these media several times after Gamescom, with different pitches. This resulted from the increasing trust due to conversations during Gamescom.
