Panic Play Date: New Games and a Online Shop

Panic, the company behind the Playdate portable game console, is hosting the “Playdate Update” event next week, which will not only feature new games for the small console, but also an online shop from which they can then be downloaded.

The “Playdate Update” will take place on 7 March at 12 noon American time. Panic will focus on new games that will soon be available for the handheld, as well as “Catalog”, a matching online shop. Quasi Panic’s curated on-device and web browser shop for Playdate software 😉

To date, more than 25,000 units of the small handheld have been shipped. The interest seems to be great. Catalog should make it easier to find and buy new games in the future.
