During the Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday, Microsoft and Ubisoft presented a trailer for a new Star Wars game called Star Wars: Outlaws.

This is an open-world game that is scheduled for release in 2024.

“Immerse yourself in the first open-world Star Wars game set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi Knights,” the trailer’s description on YouTube reads. “Explore different planets across the galaxy, both familiar and new. Put all your eggs in one basket as Kay Vess, an aspiring thief in search of freedom and the means to a new life, along with her companion Nix. Fight, steal and outwit your way through the galaxy’s crime syndicates and join the galaxy’s most wanted.”

We don’t have to wait long to see more exciting things from the new Star Wars game: Ubisoft will be showing more footage of Star Wars: Outlaws at its “Ubisoft Forward” event today.
