There are rumours that Fortnite will soon have a first-person mode. This means that players will be able to see the game from the perspective of the character instead of from a third-person perspective. Similar to shooters such as Call of Duty.
This announcement was spread on Twitter by a well-known leaker named Hypex. He claimed that the first-person mode will come “finally next season”. Other people in the know, such as ShiinaBR, GMatrixGames and iFireMonkey have also leaked that such a mode could be available next season.
Fortnite’s current season is called Chapter 4 Season 1 and ends on 8 March. The next season will then begin on 9 March and it is expected that the first-person mode will already be available then. However, Hypex said that the first-person mode will most likely be optional. Players will be able to choose whether they want to play in first-person or third-person perspective.
Apart from the first-person mode, there is also information about Fortnite’s upcoming collaborations with other franchises. For example, there will be a cross-over with Attack on Titan, which will feature a skin of the protagonist Eren Yeager. In addition, there will also be a cooperation with “Dragon Ball” that will bring us Gohan and Piccolo skins.
It remains to be seen if all these rumours and predictions will end up being true until the next season of Fortnite actually begins. In the past, however, Hypex and other leakers have often made correct statements about new features and content in Battle Royale games before they were then officially announced.
