The next Ubisoft Forward will take place on 12 June 2023. As part of its own streaming show, the publisher plans to broadcast game updates, news and reveals live from Los Angeles. Instead of exhibiting at E3.

Just this week it was announced that Ubisoft will not be exhibiting at the E3 Expo 2023 games show after all. Ubisoft’s date for Ubisoft Forward 2023 falls short of the E3 scheduled for 13-16 June 2023.

Ubisoft’s E3 cancellation follows other industry giants who will stay away from E3. Sega and Tencent will also avoid E3, according to recent media reports, as will Nintendo, Microsoft Xbox and PlayStation. This does not bode well for E3 and the question is whether the show will continue as planned or even be cancelled.
