Gran Turismo 7 Update: 3 new cars and a race track
The Gran Turismo 7 update, which has been announced for tomorrow, will add three more cars as well as the Watkins Glen International race track. So fans of the racing simulation, which was released in March, can look forward to it.
The list of new vehicles is headed by the legendary Suzuki V6 Escudo Pikes Peak Special ’98, which returns to the series after ten years of abstinence and makes the heart of many fans of the racing simulation beat faster. Also added is the Suzuki Vision Gran Turismo (Gr.3 version), which has been extensively optimized for Gr.3 regulations, as well as the historically rich cult car 1932 Ford Roadster.
Grand Turismo 7 Update 1.17 brings new cars and a race track!
The newly implemented Watkins Glen International race track, located in New York State, offers players both high-speed sections and technically challenging corner combinations. Furthermore, three additional menu maps will be added to Gran Turismo Café.
With Gran Turismo 7, developer studio 1.17 ushers in the 25th anniversary year of the racing game simulation, offering a unique experience to veterans of “The Real Driving Simulator”, as well as to all new racing game fans and car enthusiasts. Thanks to the return of legendary race tracks, the comeback of the famous GT mode for single-player fans and the possibility to perform performance tuning on the car added back into the game, the latest spin-off of the series evokes a lot of nostalgia.
At the same time, the power of the PlayStation 5 allows for an unprecedented level of detail including variable day and weather simulation. The adaptive triggers of the DualSense controller create a real racing feeling even without a steering wheel. True car fans will also be happy about the enhanced options to collect numerous cars in the game, visually design them according to their own preferences, and then put them in the best possible light in Scapes mode.
Gran Turismo 7 is released exclusively for PS5 and PS4 on March 4, 2022, and the racing game simulation series celebrates its 25th anniversary at the end of 2022.
