From 15 March, players will be able to play the NWSL teams in a variety of game modes including Kick Off, Tournament Mode and Co-op Seasons, as well as compete against other players in Online Friendlies.

In addition to the introduction of the teams, FIFA 23 will then include four new NWSL-specific stadiums to provide a more realistic gaming experience. Players will also be able to access authentic kits, trophies and celebrations designed specifically for the 12 NWSL teams.

The partnership between FIFA 23 and the NWSL is being hailed as an important step in the promotion of women’s football. NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman stresses that the integration of the league into the game is a significant milestone for the league, the players and millions of football fans around the world. The new NWSL season kicks off 10 days after the launch of the partnership on 25 March, and fans clearly can’t wait to try out the new teams and features in FIFA 23.
