Activision has announced that there is once again a free multiplayer trial of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The trial lasts for a week and has been running since 7:00pm yesterday evening. During this time, players can try out the multiplayer mode for free and take a look at Season 3.

The test version also contains 12 game modes, including TDM, Hardpoint, Domination and Gun Game. There are also 10 maps to choose from, including new maps like Pelayo’s Lighthouse and Blacksite. Of particular interest is the 2v2 mode Gunfight, which returns with Season 3 and pits players against each other in teams of two with random loadouts.

There is also something new for Warzone players: The map Blacksite comes into play as a new Gulag in Al Mazrah. A good opportunity to train a little and prepare for upcoming battles.

The test version ends next Wednesday (April 26th 2023) at 7 pm.

So take the opportunity to play for free and plunge into the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
